Teamwork is key to delivering a quality customer experience and it takes time and effort to build the right team of craftspersons who also have great interpersonal relationship skills. I really trust and appreciate the abilities that each of our members bring to our team.

Scott Hall, President and Founder

Scott is a native Ohioan born and raised by a generational family tradition of craftsmanship and design.  Having served as an engineer in the corporate world, he decided to make a change and in 1999 started Scott Hall Remodeling in Central Ohio.  It has been extremely satisfying for over 20 years to serve the needs of homeowners while keeping their best interests at heart in the process.

Scott continues to study with the industry experts and implements “best practice” operational procedures.  In 2012 Scott Hall Remodeling became recognized in Central Ohio as an award-winning Design-Build Remodeling Company and has also been the recipient of over 11 years of the Angie’s List Super Service Award. We continually strive to refine our processes, attracting high caliber skilled employees to our team that exhibit both creative talent and high moral principles.

Scott Hall Remodeling is family oriented team.  Our primary goal is in establishing team members that possess character traits of high moral principles, characterized by the desire to always do what is in the best interest of our customers, our trade partners, our suppliers, as well as SHR employees.  It is these core principles combined with excellent craftsmanship and self driven leadership that express the very foundation of our company.”

Bryn Hanover, General Manager and Co-owner

Bryn has been remodeling and restoring homes from a very early age.  For several years he operated his own remodeling company and was self-employed.  After collaborating and joining Scott Hall Remodeling over a decade ago, Bryn has brought extensive knowledge and top-notch experience to the table.  His at-ease professional personality instills confidence with homeowners and from the very first meeting helps them work through the initial stages and details of the project.  Bryn maintains and assures projects stay on task as he manages and oversees our Project Managers.  Additionally, he is heavily involved in the day to day tasks of the running the company smoothly and successfully.

“I feel fortunate to be part of the team at Scott Hall Remodeling. In all the years I have been in this field, I have never encountered the kind of culture that is here. Scott seems to be as interested in his employees well-being just as much as their skills and talents. I know that my leadership and skills have grown so much in this company and it really does feel like much more than a job. I feel like I am growing professionally and personally.”

Callie Burton, Interior Designer

Callie graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Interior Architecture. While in school, she worked in furniture sales and in journalism. She enjoys problem solving and assisting her clients by navigating them through the renovation process. Functional design is key to ensure that each homeowners lifestyle is the center of every design. She is constantly embracing new ideas, diverse styles and is always eager to learn more. Adding a personalized element to each clients home is important to Callie to ensure all clients’ homes are unique to them. Aside from design, her other passion is entertaining. She enjoys cooking (and hosting) for family and friends weekly.

“Joining the SHR team has been wonderful! I was trusted and heard from day one. There is nothing more rewarding than being surrounded by a team who values my work and assists me in reaching my goals. Included in my role is creating a functional home for my clients, and SHR has reciprocated that by creating an inviting environment for me at the office”.

Dusty Hurst, Design Consultant

Dusty’s interest in design goes back to around the time he could pick up a pencil. His favorite books growing up were home design magazines which would inspire him to sketch out his own blueprints on just about any writable surface he could find. This passion led to many remodeling and design projects as a hobby before starting his career as a design consultant. In addition to his passion for design, Dusty brings over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry to the team which allows him to fully understand the value and investment a remodel adds to a home.

“Being a part of the team at Scott Hall Remodeling has truly brought my career and passions full circle. It’s a great feeling to work with a team who shares the same passion and values. Helping clients achieve their dream space and add improvements to better their way of living, is beyond rewarding.”.

His move to SHR was driven by a lifelong interest in residential design, sustainable construction, and creative re-use of space. He enjoys helping clients clearly define and prioritize their ideas, to ensure that their completed project exceeds expectations.

“I’ve built my career on identifying that “one extra question” that helps clients clarify what they really hope to accomplish, and it’s a great feeling to help people find a solution that works even better than they might have originally envisioned. I’m honored to be associated with the creativity and craftsmanship of the people Scott and Bryn have brought together in this company.”

Patty Steele, Director of Operations

Her focus has been on kitchen and bath design and she was lucky enough to find amazing mentors that helped her learn the ins and outs of the renovation process so she can help guide clients through the entirety of their projects.

“Being able to work with a company like Scott Hall Remodeling is truly a gift. The whole team loves what they do and it really shows in how much they value creating a great experience for their clients. From design to production to installation, everyone at Scott Hall Remodeling plays an integral role and you can see from the results how proud they are of the work they do.”

The incorporation of her knowledge of customer service, leadership, and technology has provided many benefits to our employees and clients.

“I am absolutely thrilled to be working at Scott Hall Remodeling! I am impressed with the care for the customers and employees at this company, something you don’t see a lot anymore, and grateful to be a part of a company that takes both of these seriously.
