When the tub was removed and then repositioned with the new onyx deck, Mike took additional steps to make sure that the tub was set correctly. Again, the builder had taken short cuts with the original installation. The tub had been hanging on the frame and was unsupported from below. There were at least a couple inches between the subfloor and the bottom of the tub. Upon stepping into the tub/Jacuzzi before the remodel, it always felt a little unstable. Mike built up the subfloor and used quick set to provide a firm foundation for the tub. It is rock solid now.
Aesthetically, Scott Hall’s work was impressive. The onyx and the glass enclosure are beautiful. The color scheme in the bathroom pleased my wife thanks to the help of Ali, the designer who works with Scott.
After the work was completed, the bathroom was spotless. The men working for Scott took measures to keep the place very tidy while they completed the project. Follow up after the project to make sure we were completely satisfied was excellent.
I have used Angie’s list for a while, but mainly to find contractors or services. This is the first time I have written a review. I did so because I was so pleased with the work. It took a while to get on the schedule because his work is in demand. The project was not cheap, but “you get what you pay for.” Scott Hall remodeling was definitely worth the wait and the cost.
